Oğuzhan Uğur, arrested on allegations that donations collected on behalf of Ahbap Association were transferred to the accounts of suspects, has been brought to Karatepe Penitentiary Institution in Çorlu, Tekirdağ. Haluk Levent, who was previously arrested as part of the investigation, was also placed in the same prison.
Oğuzhan Uğur, arrested as part of the investigation into the claim that donations collected on behalf of the Ahbap Association were transferred to suspects' accounts, has been placed in the Karatepe Penal Execution Institution in Çorlu, Tekirdağ.
ARRESTED ON TWO CHARGES
Babala TV host and social media phenomenon Oğuzhan Uğur was arrested by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of 'Misappropriation due to service' and 'Money laundering' within the scope of the investigation into the claim that donations collected on behalf of the Ahbap Association were transferred to suspects' accounts.
SAME PRISON AS HALUK LEVENT
Uğur, arrested in Istanbul, was brought to the Karatepe Penal Execution Institution in Çorlu, Tekirdağ, via minibus around 16:00 today. Following procedures, Uğur was placed in the prison.
Haluk Levent, the president of the association who was arrested within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the Ahbap Association, had also been placed in the Karatepe Penal Execution Institution last Thursday.
