Social media influencer Oğuzhan Uğur and 8 others, detained in the investigation into the Ahbap Association, have been arrested. In his statement, Uğur stated that he did not accept the charges against him, saying that in a car sale, money was sent to a person named 'Muhammed' instead of 'Muammed,' adding, 'It has been surprising for me that such facts are presented as evidence in the accusation.'
In the second wave operation of the "Ahbaplar Criminal Organization" investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 9 people, including Babala TV Founder Oğuzhan Uğur, were arrested.
ATTEMPTED TO TEAR WITH THE EXAMPLE OF "MUHAMMED"
In his statement before the judge, Oğuzhan Uğur stated that he did not accept the allegations against him. "I repeat my previous statements verbatim," said Uğur, adding, "All the allegations attributed to me in the file have documented evidence; I am surprised to be in front of you with these accusations. I would like to give you an example. Due to a typographical error in a car sale transaction at the bank, the money was sent, then returned, and later corrected with the process renewed. Since the employee wrote 'Muammed' instead of 'Muhammed,' the transaction was repeated twice. It has been surprising for me that such proven facts are presented as evidence for criminal accusations."

"Today, while giving a statement at the prosecutor's office, upon my lawyer's warning, I learned that the expert report was leaked to the internet. We subsequently mentioned this to the prosecutor, who stated that such a thing could not happen and that such visuals were fabricated news. About 5-6 minutes after this conversation, he left the room; when he returned, the leaked expert report was in his hand. He said there was such a report and became aware of it along with us. This did not surprise us later.
"I ALSO LEARNED THAT I WAS UNDER ARREST FROM THE NEWS"
Previously, I also learned from the news that the police were coming to my house. When I left the prosecutor's office, I asked my lawyer, 'Check the X account to see if I am being sent to detention.' My lawyer answered, 'Yes.'
As soon as we left the room, I learned of the request for arrest. Then, again from internet news, I learned that I was currently under arrest. I wanted to mention this because the situation is tragicomic.
Although I am familiar with these issues from a distance because I frequently voice such complaints on my programs, experiencing the exact same events firsthand has saddened me. I trust in justice, I am innocent. I request to be released."
