Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that operations were carried out against six separate organized crime groups in four provinces. A total of 71 suspects, including the leaders D.S. and N.G., were apprehended, and 43 of them were arrested. The operation resulted in the seizure of a large number of weapons, including a sniper rifle, as shown in the footage.

In a statement on his social media account, Interior Minister Yerlikaya stated that operations were conducted against 6 separate organized crime groups led by D.S. in Denizli, M.K. in Izmir (fugitive abroad), N.G. in Kırklareli, and D.A. (fugitive abroad), I.A. (fugitive abroad), and B.G. (detained abroad) in Istanbul (3 separate organizations), and reported that 71 suspects, including the organized crime group leaders D.S. and N.G., were captured, with 43 of them arrested, 14 subjected to judicial control, and the processing of the others ongoing.
OUR STRUGGLE CONTINUES WITH DETERMINATION
Yerlikaya shared the following information regarding the operations:
"In coordination with our Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices and the General Directorate of Security's Organized Crime Department; as a result of the efforts of the Provincial Police Departments' Organized Crime and Organized Branch Directorates; in the operations conducted in Denizli, Izmir, Kırklareli, and Istanbul, the suspects who are members of organized crime groups have been investigated by our prosecutors for establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes, attempted murder, armed assault, damage to property, human trafficking, robbery, qualified fraud, intentional injury, deliberately endangering public safety, drug trafficking, usury, and arms and ammunition smuggling.
I congratulate our governors, the chief public prosecutors coordinating the operations, and the heroic police officers who carried out the operations. Together with our security forces, our struggle against organized crime groups continues with determination to ensure that no crime or criminal goes unpunished."
SNIPER RIFLE SEIZED
Minister Yerlikaya congratulated the Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices and the police who carried out the operations, stating that a large number of weapons were seized during the operation. It was noted that among the weapons, there was also a sniper rifle.
