Operations were carried out against irregular migrants and human traffickers in 51 cities. During the operations, 1,022 irregular migrants were apprehended, and 98 human traffickers were arrested.

In Istanbul, Adana, Izmir, Erzurum, Kocaeli, Van, Hatay, Mersin, Mugla, Nevsehir, Sivas, Edirne, Tokat, Trabzon, Igdir, Afyonkarahisar, Agri, Balikesir, Gaziantep, Isparta, Aydin, Bursa, Canakkale, Erzincan, Hakkari, Kirklareli, Rize, Sakarya, Tekirdag, Sanliurfa, Yozgat, Ardahan, Kilis, Adiyaman, Amasya, Antalya, Burdur, Elazig, Giresun, Kars, Kastamonu, Konya, Malatya, Manisa, Kahramanmaras, Nigde, Ordu, Usak, Bayburt, Yalova, and Osmaniye, a total of 1,022 irregular migrants were caught in operations conducted over the last two weeks.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya reported that 273 human traffickers were also detained.
98 HUMAN TRAFFICKERS ARRESTED
Of those detained, 98 were arrested and sent to prison. It was noted that the procedures for the other detained human traffickers are ongoing.
Minister Yerlikaya stated, "We are addressing the issue of migration in all its dimensions, including regular-irregular migration, international protection, voluntary, safe, and dignified return, combating human trafficking, and border management."
