Within the scope of the investigation conducted into the municipality in the Milas district of Muğla, simultaneous operations were carried out in 13 provinces. In the operation targeting suspects including Milas Mayor Fevzi Topuz and his son Doruk Topuz, 29 people were detained. In the investigation, it was alleged that work experience certificates were issued using fake tender documents worth more than 2.5 billion lira.
Police teams arriving at the municipal building in the Milas district of Muğla in the early hours of the morning began a search. Within the scope of the operation, entry to the building was temporarily halted.
RIOT POLICE TEAMS TOOK PRECAUTIONS
While it was seen that riot police teams took security precautions around the municipal building, it was learned that police teams conducted searches in some units inside.
While no official statement has yet been made regarding which investigation the operation was carried out within the scope of, it was reported that the searches in the building are continuing.
