In his statement, the terrorist Uğur Bahadır described his contact with Özgür Altun, code-named “Abu Yasir Al Turki,” who managed the transfer of organization members from Turkey to the Afghanistan-Pakistan region. In his statement, Bahadır also shared in detail the training he received within ISIS, the duties assigned to him on behalf of the organization, and organizational activities in the region.

Uğur Bahadır joined the ISIS terrorist organization in 2024 by crossing from Turkey to the Afghanistan-Pakistan region. It was determined that the person who directed Bahadır to the organization was Özgür Altun, code-named “Abu Yasir Al Turki,” who was captured at the beginning of 2025. It was known that Altun carried out duties given by ISIS and played an active role in transferring organization members from Turkey to the region.
