In an operation targeting massage parlors in three provinces centered around Bursa, 15 people were detained for promoting prostitution. Additionally, 34 victimized women were rescued during the operations.
Upon receiving intelligence that women were being encouraged into prostitution with the promise of high fees, operations were carried out in massage parlors in 3 provinces centered in Bursa, resulting in the detention of 15 individuals. 34 victimized women were rescued, and 38,000 lira obtained from prostitution was seized.
The teams from the Bursa Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch, Moral Bureau conducted operations at massage parlors.
Acting on intelligence that women were being encouraged into prostitution under the guise of 'masseurs' with promises of high fees, the teams initiated technical and physical surveillance in coordination with the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in Bursa, Mardin, and Antalya.
15 PEOPLE DETAINED, 34 WOMEN RESCUED
The teams conducted simultaneous operations at 10 different massage parlors, and during their searches, they seized numerous products used during sexual intercourse, 5 laptops, 22 mobile phones, 2 flash drives, and 38,000 lira believed to have been earned from prostitution.
As a result of the operation, a total of 15 individuals were detained, including 11 women and 4 men, while 34 victimized women were rescued. The suspects were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station.
