YENİ Party Zonguldak MP Deniz Yavuzyılmaz announced that at the Ankara Train Station built under the Build-Operate-Transfer model, the number of departing passengers guaranteed at 10 million for the period October 29, 2025–October 29, 2026 remained at 2 million 988 thousand 839. According to Yavuzyılmaz, the Treasury will make a guaranteed payment to the contracting company of 17 million 700 thousand dollars including VAT, that is, approximately 885 million lira.

NEW Party Zonguldak MP Deniz Yavuzyılmaz stated that at the Ankara Railway Station built under the Build-Operate-Transfer model, the guaranteed number of departing passengers for the period 29 October 2025-29 October 2026 was 10 million, but the actual number remained at 2 million 988 thousand 839. Yavuzyılmaz stated that the Treasury will make a guarantee payment to the authorized company of 17 million 700 thousand dollars including VAT (885 million lira), and said, "This is not called a Treasury guarantee, but a guarantee of impoverishing citizens."
PASSENGER NUMBER REMAINED FAR BELOW THE GUARANTEE
NEW Party Zonguldak MP Deniz Yavuzyılmaz shared one-year passenger information for the Ankara Railway Station built under the Build-Operate-Transfer model in a post on his social media account.
Stating that a guarantee of 10 million departing passengers was given for the station, but the actual number of passengers remained at 2 million 988 thousand 839, Yavuzyılmaz noted that the discrepancy between the guaranteed passenger number and the actual number was 70 percent. Yavuzyılmaz stated that the Treasury will pay the company 17 million 700 thousand dollars including VAT, or 885 million lira at the current exchange rate, and said, "This is not called a Treasury guarantee, but a guarantee of impoverishing citizens."
HOTEL, SHOPPING MALL AND PARKING REVENUES ALSO GO TO THE COMPANY
In his post, Yavuzyılmaz also included information about the project's authorized company and the dates of opening to service and transfer to the public. Reminding that Ankara Railway Station was opened to service in 2016 and will be transferred to the public in 2037, Yavuzyılmaz noted that the authorized company is ATG Gar İşletmesi AŞ, a joint venture of KOLİN, CENGİZ and LİMAK.
Deniz Yavuzyılmaz said, "Guaranteed passenger number for 2026: 10 million. Guaranteed departing passenger number until transfer to the public: 106 million. Guarantee amount per passenger: 1.5 dollars + VAT. In addition, within the scope of this project, the revenues of a four-star hotel with 134 rooms and 268 beds, a shopping mall with 170 stores, and a parking lot with 1,200 vehicles have been left to these companies for 20 years and 6 months."
