Moments when police officers punched and kicked a person they had pinned to the ground at Manchester Airport were captured on camera. These images emerged shortly after two officers were cleared in a similar incident. The footage, taken on Sunday afternoon, shows one police officer punching the man on the ground four times and kicking him twice in the abdomen. It was reported that the incident occurred following a report regarding a person exhibiting "drunken and disorderly behavior" at a bus stop, who was not allowed to board public transport. The first police officer to arrive at the scene attempted to arrest the individual, after which other officers came to assist. The footage shows one officer holding the man's head, another securing his legs, and a third officer kneeling on top of him. This incident follows another altercation at the same airport five months ago, where two police officers were knocked to the ground. In that incident, 19-year-old Mohammed Fahir Amaaz and his 25-year-old brother Muhammad Amaad were arrested, with claims that Amaaz was kicked in the head. Charges have been brought against the two brothers. Now 20 years old, Amaaz faces charges of two counts of assault and one count of assaulting an emergency worker. The 25-year-old Amaad will appear in Liverpool Magistrates' Court alongside his brother on January 16, facing a charge of assault. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police stated, "We are reviewing the footage released regarding the arrest that took place at the airport bus terminal yesterday afternoon. We are aware of concerns regarding the use of force in the footage, and our professional standards unit is assessing all available footage, including police body camera footage and CCTV recordings."
