With the new decree published in the Official Gazette, senior management positions in the Ministry of Interior, the Migration Directorate, and AFAD have changed. Muhammet Selami Yazıcı has been appointed as the Head of the Migration Directorate.
The appointments made by the Presidency were published in the Official Gazette.
According to the appointment decisions published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, appointments and dismissals took place in high-level public institutions. The appointments are as follows:
APPOINTMENTS IN THE PRESIDENCY OF MIGRATION MANAGEMENT
Deputy President of the Presidency of Migration Management Niyazi Ulugolge and General Director of Management Services Davut Duzgun were dismissed. Due to the recent appointment, the vacant position of the Presidency of Migration Management was filled by Muhammet Selami Yazici, General Director of Information Technologies of the Ministry of Interior, Murat Karakaya as Deputy President, and Ahmet Turkoz, Deputy General Director of Civil Society Relations of the Ministry of Interior, as General Director of Management Services.
APPOINTMENTS IN THE MINISTRY OF INTERIOR
In the Ministry of Interior, Mehmet Balikcilar, Deputy General Director, was appointed to the vacant General Directorate of Information Technologies, and Levent Yazici, Head of the Security and Emergency Coordination Center Department, was appointed to the Department of Support Services.
Additionally, according to the decision, Ahmet Nehar Pocan, General Director of Shelter and Construction Works of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), was dismissed, and Elif Bag was appointed to the vacant General Directorate of Shelter and Construction Works.
