President Erdoğan made statements at the 3rd World Islamic Economic Summit held in the Istanbul Financial Center, saying, "We have a concept called abundance. As our late teacher Erbakan said, a 1 lira profit is superior to a 2 lira profit. Where there is interest, there is no abundance."
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during the 3rd World Islamic Economics Summit held at the Istanbul Finance Center, referenced Necmettin Erbakan's words and clearly reiterated his stance against interest once again.

Emphasizing that alternative solutions to the global economic system and international relations are possible, President Erdogan said, "While saying a fairer world is possible, as a family of humanity, we are not without solutions in economics or international relations. We must put in more effort. The more we embrace Islamic economics, the sooner we will reach our goals."

Drawing attention to the importance of the concept of "blessing" in the economy, Erdogan recalled Necmettin Erbakan's economic vision and stated, "We have a concept of blessing. As the late Hoca Erbakan said, a 1 lira profit is superior to a 2 lira profit. Where there is interest, there is no blessing. Where there is exploitation and injustice, blessing is not found. Where there is only profit thinking, blessing cannot find a place."
