"CUBA WILL FALL AFTER IRAN"
In a phone interview with American Politico magazine, U.S. President Trump evaluated the latest situation in Iran and shared his views on Cuba.
Claiming that the attacks on Iran have been "successful," Trump stated that the Iranian government would "surrender" and then said, "Cuba will fall as well."
"LIKE CREAM ON A CAKE"
In response to a question about whether the U.S. has a plan to overthrow the government in Cuba, Trump said, "Well, what do you think? For 50 years, this issue has been like cream on a cake. It's a small matter for me. Venezuela is doing great. (Delcy Rodriguez) is doing a fantastic job. Our relations with them are excellent."
Noting that the U.S. is in contact with Cuba's communist government, Trump said, "They need help. We are in talks with Cuba."
"I WILL HAVE AN INFLUENCE IN DETERMINING THE NEW LEADER"
Speaking about Iran, Trump said, "We have cut off all oil and money flow, we have cut everything coming from Venezuela, the only source. Now they want to make a deal." He spoke confidently about the process of determining a new leader in Iran.
In response to a question about how much influence he would have over Iran's new leader, Trump stated, "I will have a great influence, otherwise they will not be able to reach any agreement. We will work with the people and the regime to ensure that someone who can build Iran beautifully without nuclear weapons comes to power."
Trump mentioned that they are following reports suggesting that Murteza Hamaney, the son of the late Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who died in a U.S.-Israel attack, could take his place, asserting that son Hamaney is "inadequate."
Stating that they have a large stockpile of weapons to continue attacks on Iran, Trump said, "We are making a surgical intervention. We have an unlimited stock of weapons."
