Galatasaray has officially announced that they have added Milan's Portuguese star Rafael Leao to their squad. The yellow-reds will pay Milan a transfer fee of 38 million euros for the 27-year-old footballer. While a 4-year contract has been signed with Leao, the star player will receive a guaranteed net salary of 10 million euros per season.

Galatasaray have officially completed the transfer of world-renowned AC Milan forward Rafael Leão. In a statement from the yellow-red club, it was announced that a fixed transfer fee of 38 million euros will be paid to AC Milan for the transfer. As part of the agreement, 20% of any future profit from a potential sale of the player will also be paid to the Italian representative.

A 4-year contract has been signed with the Portuguese star, effective from the 2026-2027 season, and it has been stated that the player will receive a guaranteed net salary of 10 million euros per season.

A CAREER FULL OF SUCCESS FROM SPORTING TO MILAN

Leão, who received his football training at one of Portugal's established clubs, Sporting, transferred to French side Lille in 2018 after making 4 appearances for the first team. In his single season in France, the star player recorded 8 goals and 3 assists in 26 matches, and in the summer of 2019, he made his way to AC Milan.

Leão, who maintained a consistent performance with the Italian giants for 7 seasons, found the back of the net 80 times in a total of 293 official matches for Milan. Last season, the Portuguese international contributed 10 goals and 3 assists in 31 matches for Milan.
