Five of those detained in connection with the metrobus accident in Istanbul, in which one person lost their life, rebelled against the peace criminal judge with the request for arrest. 1 PERSON LOST THEIR LIFE IN THE METROBUS ACCIDENTThe investigation into the accident, in which a metrobus traveling in the direction of Beylikdüzü collided with another metrobus coming from the opposite direction in the Sefaköy area, continues by the Küçükçekmece Public Prosecutor's Office. The statements of the 8 suspects brought to the Küçükçekmece Courthouse were taken at the prosecutor's office. ARREST REQUEST FOR 5 PEOPLEThe public prosecutor sent the metrobus driver D.M.Ç and supervisor Ş.Y, among 5 suspects, to the peace criminal judge with the request for arrest on charges of "causing injury and death by negligence". The other 3 suspects were released after their statements at the prosecutor's office. WHAT HAPPENEDIn Küçükçekmece, yesterday morning, as a result of the collision of two metrobus, 22-year-old Ferhat Uçar lost his life and 51 people were injured, 2 of them seriously. After the accident, 2 out of 4 people who were detained were released after their statements were taken. The other 2 people were referred to the courthouse. As part of the investigation, arrest warrants were issued for the metrobus command officer, area manager, project manager, construction site manager, and maintenance and repair director and deputy director. Upon this, the security forces took action and detained 6 more suspects.
