Beşiktaş Club President Serdal Adalı responded to the resignation chants in the stadium. Adalı stated that they are a community that can no longer tolerate either an election or a change of president and coach while the season is ongoing, saying, "After correcting the financial situation, everyone will be a candidate! However, I will not return this club to its former days! I will not leave without making a change to the statutes and bringing Beşiktaş to where it deserves."
Beşiktaş Club President Serdal Adalı held a press conference at Tüpraş Stadium regarding the agenda of the black-and-white community. Adalı also responded to the resignation chants in the stadium.
"BEŞİKTAŞ IS NOT A COMMUNITY THAT WILL GO TO ELECTION EVERY YEAR"
Responding to the calls for resignation, Adalı said, "This community has no tolerance for either an election or a change of president and coach while the season is ongoing. We will eliminate the culture of ambush. We will put an end to this habit. Beşiktaş is too big a club to be designed by inciting rebellion. Beşiktaş needed stability and a long and correct roadmap. Those who are shouting for resignation today will still be around in the future. I am not a man who will take the last sponsorship money that comes to Beşiktaş and leave after collecting every last penny owed. Beşiktaş is not a community that will go to election every year. I am here to uproot the culture of ambush in Beşiktaş. My words are certainly not for our true fans. What I say is directed at the crowd that is organized to create chaos at any moment." he said.
"FIRST OF ALL, I WILL PAY THESE DEBTS"
Continuing his statements, Adalı said, "Our football team did not achieve the results we wanted. I anticipated that this situation could occur in a team where 9 out of the starting 11 are new. In the upcoming transfers, we will bring in players who carry the spirit of the team. Many of the players we wanted during this transfer period encountered difficulties. We have made offers, all of them are players who play for their own teams. If they agree to the conditions we set, we will complete the transfers. I would rather be remembered as a president who could not make transfers than as a president who caused losses to Beşiktaş.
