{"text":"In the child abuse investigation in Amasra that has dominated Turkey's agenda, new stomach-churning details have emerged in the indictment. Allegations have been added to the file that the 13-year-old child was lured on TikTok with the promise of "buying a meal," that some suspects are linked to each other, and that the mother turned a blind eye to the incidents in exchange for money."}

New details have emerged in the investigation into allegations of sexual abuse against a 13-year-old girl in the Amasra district of Bartın. It was stated that the HTS records and statements obtained during the investigation strengthened the suspicion that connections established via social media progressed within an organized structure.

INVESTIGATION STARTED WITH A TIP

According to the indictment prepared by the Bartın Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the process began after an anonymous tip to the police on April 18. The tip claimed that G.Ö., an 8th-grade student aged 13, communicated with some individuals through accounts opened under different names on social media and was abused.

The prepared indictment stated that the messages between the suspects supported the abuse allegations.

33 PEOPLE ARRESTED

In the investigation into the incident, which is alleged to have lasted about 1.5 years, statements were taken from approximately 180 people. Within the scope of the file, a total of 33 people, including 9 children pushed into crime, ranging in age from 16 to 23, were arrested. A judicial control decision was made for three people.

“I DON’T REMEMBER HOW MANY TIMES”

According to the news in Nefes newspaper; G.Ö.'s statements at the Child Monitoring Center and the Forensic Interview Room were included in the investigation file. According to the allegations, the victim child was systematically subjected to abuse after communicating with some individuals through various social media platforms, especially TikTok.

According to the statements in the file, it was alleged that the abuses sometimes occurred in exchange for money, and sometimes were carried out multiple times or by multiple people at the same time.

While forensic medicine examinations found evidence of abuse, it was stated that G.Ö. was abused by a total of 36 men, 27 of whom were adults and 9 under the age of 18, based on the text messages obtained from the phone and the statements.

The statement in the indictment that "the child no longer remembers details such as by whom and how many times she was abused" drew attention.

ABUSE IN EXCHANGE FOR A MEAL

The court requested the examination of base station and HTS records between January 2025 and May 2026 to reveal the connections among the suspects.

The investigation file also included allegations that some suspects abused the victim child in exchange for a meal worth 350 liras. It was claimed that all suspects knew each other and the circle was shaped around A.R.Ç. and B.E.T.

ALLEGATIONS REGARDING THE MOTHER ALSO IN THE FILE

Allegations regarding the victim child's arrested mother also drew attention in the investigation. According to the information in the file, it was alleged that the mother was aware of what was happening and turned a blind eye to some meetings in exchange for money.

The indictment included information that the mother saw the messages on her daughter's phone and sent a message to the person she was texting saying "don't talk about such things anymore."

NEW DETENTIONS POSSIBLE

While it is considered that other individuals may also have been involved in the incident, it was learned that new detentions may come to the agenda in line with the prosecutor's office's work.

The indictment prepared against 27 adults on charges of "sexual abuse of a child" and "deprivation of personal liberty" was accepted by the Bartın 2nd Heavy Penal Court. It was stated that the second case to be filed against the 9 children pushed into crime will be merged with the current case file.
