Didem Soydan explained how her Bitcoin investment made in 2012 turned into a fortune years later. The model, who was astonished by the amount she saw when she regained access to her account after forgetting its password, said her brother shouted, 'Sis, we got rich!'
Famous model Didem Soydan explained how she made a huge profit thanks to Bitcoin, which she invested years ago on the advice of her ex-boyfriend. Soydan, who accessed her digital wallet whose password she had forgotten after days of effort, became a topic of conversation with her astonishment.
“MY BOYFRIEND TOLD ME ABOUT BITCOIN”
Didem Soydan said she entered the world of digital currency thanks to her ex-lover. Stating that Bitcoin was not well known at that time, Soydan used the following statements:
“My boyfriend at the time told me about Bitcoin. He made me download the app. I sent the money from the bank. I put it there, and 10 days later I moved to New York.”
YEARS LATER, IT CAME TO MIND BUT SHE COULDN'T REMEMBER THE PASSWORD
Soydan, who said she remembered her account when Bitcoin was being discussed among friends after years had passed, described her surprise with these words:
“About 4 years went by. At the end of 4 years, my friends were excitedly discussing: 'Let's take out a loan. Bitcoin has gone up a lot. There's something called Bitcoin.' I never forget, I was eating. 'What did you say?' I said. 'Bitcoin,' he said. I said, 'Did you know I have Bitcoin?' He said to me, 'Stop joking, what do you know?'”
SHE LAUNCHED AN OPERATION TO FIND THE PASSWORD
The famous model, who remembered her Bitcoin wallet but forgot the password, said they struggled for days to access her account. Didem Soydan, speaking on the No Filter YouTube program with Umut Ceylan, described the process of asking her sister for help because the password was sent to her old phone line:
“I called my sister, had her find my old phone and plug it in to charge. We patiently worked for 3-4 days to access the account.”
“SIS, WE'RE RICH!”
Didem Soydan said she was greatly surprised by the figure she saw when she finally logged into her account:
“When we finally managed to log into the system, we were shocked by the figure on the screen. My sister screamed in excitement, 'Sis, we're rich!'”
