The program 'Esra Erol'da' broadcast on ATV entered this list for the first time and received a fine. According to a statement by RTÜK, the Supreme Council convened to examine current broadcast violations and reviewed productions containing violent scenes that encourage children and young people towards violence and crime.

RTÜK FINES DAYTIME PROGRAMS

Evaluating the program "Esra Erol'da" broadcast on ATV following viewer complaints, RTÜK determined that the content legitimizes immoral relationships, harming the moral development of children and youth, and imposed an administrative fine on the channel.

RTÜK identified that the program "Didem Arslan Yılmaz'la Vazgeçme" on SHOW TV normalizes deceit and illicit relationships. Finding the content harmful to children's development and the discussed inappropriate allegations damaging to concepts of family and loyalty, the Supreme Council imposed an administrative fine on the channel.

The Supreme Council found that the program "Nur Viral ile Sen İstersen" on STAR TV contained many elements constituting broadcast violations and imposed an administrative fine on STAR TV.

At the Supreme Council, broadcast violations related to different episodes of the series "Halef: Köklerin Çağrısı" on NOW TV were also addressed. The Council decided to impose an administrative fine on NOW TV for these broadcasts.

RTÜK ruled that scenes encouraging peer bullying and violence in Kanal D's series "Daha 17" are contrary to the development of young people and imposed an administrative fine on the channel.

FINES FOR HALK TV AND SZC TV

Examining the statements of permanent guests İsmail Saymaz and İbrahim Kahveci in the May 22 episode of the program "Para Siyaset" on Halk TV, a fine was imposed on Halk TV.

The Supreme Council reviewed the program "Özel Röportaj" on SZC TV, broadcast on May 8, which featured Özgür Özel's remarks targeting President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Justice Minister Akın Gürlek. RTÜK imposed an administrative fine on the channel for violating the relevant provision of the law.

SERIOUS ALLEGATIONS RAISED IN THE BROADCAST

In the mentioned broadcast, serious allegations were raised that Justice Minister Akın Gürlek communicated with President Erdoğan via an "encrypted phone," these conversations were recorded, confidential information regarding judicial processes was transmitted, President Erdoğan was misinformed through manipulative guidance, and the state mechanism was thus directed.

In its assessment, the Supreme Council determined that SZC TV did not act within the framework of principles of impartiality, reality, and accuracy; and did not refrain from broadcasting unverified information and claims.

In this context, an administrative fine was applied to SZC TV for violating the broadcasting principles specified in paragraph (ı) of the first clause of Article 8 of Law No. 6112 on the Establishment and Broadcasting Services of Radio and Television.

KAFA RADYO ALSO COULD NOT ESCAPE THE FINE
