Speaking about the detention process of Ümit Özdağ, Arıkan expressed that such interventions harm democracy. "Ümit Özdağ is one of the names I will not come together with politically, but we cannot accept what has been done," said Arıkan, emphasizing that opposition leaders should have the right to criticize.
