Reactions were shown to comments such as “coup,” “December 17 derivative,” and “the ultimate target is Erdoğan” regarding the fund crisis by AK Party member Şamil Tayyar. Tayyar said, “There is no coup attempt; what happened can never be compared to December 17. Because there is no enemy; there are quite a lot of friends from within. There is an interest organization. It is very clear and obvious. The greedy among us have poisoned the AK Party and the state.”

Former AK Party MP Şamil Tayyar made a striking assessment regarding the ongoing fund debates. Stating that what happened was not a coup attempt or an externally orchestrated plot, Tayyar said that behind the incident were interest groups that had infiltrated the party and state bureaucracy.

TAYYAR: THERE IS NO COUP ATTEMPT

Emphasizing in his statement that the incident cannot be compared to the December 17 process, Tayyar stated that the crisis stemmed not from an external threat but from corruption within the institutions themselves. In his statement, Tayyar used the following expressions: "When I read the recently increasing comments regarding the fund crisis such as "coup," "December 17 derivative," and "the ultimate target is Erdoğan," let us repeat the determination we have insistently emphasized:

There is no coup attempt; what happened can never be likened to December 17. Because there is no enemy; there are quite a lot of friends from within. There is an interest organization. It is very clear and obvious: The greedy among us have poisoned the AK Party and the state. They have paved the roads to hell with stones of good intentions. Our President, like everyone else, has been negatively affected by this.

"GOD WILLING, THIS CRISIS WILL BE TURNED INTO AN OPPORTUNITY"

External circles that take pleasure in Türkiye's stumbling have also celebrated. This is the brief summary of the matter. God willing, this crisis will be turned into an opportunity, and we will rise again stronger from where we stumbled."
