INHUMANE TREATMENT OF PALESTINIAN PRISONERS
The footage shows a group of Palestinian prisoners lined up with their hands cuffed behind their backs, blindfolded, and heads bowed, being forced to walk under the escort of Israeli military and police. In a statement regarding the issue, the Media Office noted, "These images document the mistreatment of prisoners who are to be released under the prisoner exchange agreement by the occupying forces."
The Director of the Palestinian Prisoners Society, Emced en-Neccar, also shared on his social media account that images of some Palestinian prisoners were published by a Hebrew-language media outlet before their release. Neccar stated that these individuals are prisoners who have received life sentences and were transferred to Negev Prison to be deported to Gaza under the agreement.
RAID ON THE HOMES OF MANY PALESTINIAN PRISONERS
Meanwhile, according to information obtained from eyewitnesses, numerous raids were conducted by Israel on the homes of prisoners in the West Bank. Israeli forces also entered the homes of two Palestinian prisoners, Halil Ebu Aram and Talib Muhamera, from the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, attempting to prevent the relatives of the prisoners from celebrating the release of the Palestinians.

It was reported that the instruction regarding the release of Palestinian prisoners reached the Israeli Prison Administration. According to a report by Yediot Ahronot newspaper, the transfer of Palestinian prisoners from five different prisons to the prisons where they will be released has begun. Under the agreement, Israel is expected to release approximately 1,700 individuals it has detained from Gaza since October 7, 2023, along with 250 Palestinian prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment.
CEASEFIRE AND PRISONER EXCHANGE AGREEMENT IN GAZA
On October 9, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that during ongoing negotiations in Egypt, Israel and Hamas approved the first phase of a ceasefire plan in Gaza. While the agreement was signed in Egypt, it came into effect on October 10 with the approval of the Israeli government. Following the Israeli army's withdrawal from the "yellow line" as stated in the agreement, the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip was announced to take effect at 12:00 on the same day.
