In an attack on a cafe in the Sur district of Diyarbakır, two individuals were released under judicial control on the grounds that they were dissatisfied with the clothing of women and that music was being played. In a previous attack, three people were arrested. THEY ATTACKED THE CAFE BECAUSE THEY DID NOT LIKE THE WOMEN'S CLOTHINGIn the Cami Kebir neighborhood of Sur district, two individuals threatened the establishment in the evening hours, claiming that "women with revealing clothing were coming and music was being played". After a verbal argument, a fight broke out between the two individuals and the cafe staff. The owner of the establishment broke his hand during the fight, while a cafe employee was injured from the blows he received. RELEASED UNDER JUDICIAL CONTROLAfter the incident, the two attackers were taken into custody and then referred to the courthouse after the interrogation process at the police station. The suspects were released under judicial control after appearing in court. THEY HAD PREVIOUSLY ATTACKED WITH EXPLOSIVESOn July 11, the two attackers had previously carried out a homemade explosive and armed attack on the same cafe for the same reasons. As part of the investigation launched after the attack, three people were arrested.
