Jahrein was detained due to his obscene remarks towards girls in the chat room.

Social media phenomenon Ahmet Sonuç, also known as Jahrein, was detained in Antalya. In a statement made by the police, it was stated that "in the live chat room titled 'sohbet odası' on social media platforms, inappropriate conversations that do not comply with the general morality and values of society were observed."

OBSCENE WORDS TOWARDS GIRLS

Two social media influencers were detained in Antalya due to their obscene words towards girls. In a statement from Antalya Police Department, the following expressions were included:

"Due to the news about obscene conversations and publications made through the internet on some press and media accounts, it has been deemed necessary to make the following statement.

"IDENTIFIED AS A.S. WITH THE NICKNAME JAHREİN"

It has been observed that inappropriate conversations that do not comply with the general morality and values of society were made in the live chat room titled 'sohbet odası' on the open sources managed by the user with the username 'RockerpuckEvil' and the nickname 'Pungent 666' on the social media platform named X (Twitter). When the mentioned conversations were examined, it was determined that the user with the username RockerpuckEvil and the nickname Pungent 666 is the person named E.K. Additionally, it was observed that the user with the nickname 'Jahrein' made similar conversations with similar content in the live broadcast on the social media platform named Twitch, and as a result of the investigations, it was determined that the user with the nickname 'Jahrein' is the person named A.S. E.K. and A.S., who are the individuals named, were detained on 12.09.2024 by our Cyber Crimes Unit of the Police Department, and legal proceedings have been initiated against them for the crime of obscenity according to Article 226 of the Turkish Penal Code."
