The annual intra-provincial assignment decisions made at the Istanbul Police Department have been announced. Changes were made in 9 branch directorates and 18 district police departments. While a new appointment was made in place of Şinasi Yüzbaşıoğlu, the Eyüpsultan District Police Chief and husband of famous TV personality Müge Anlı, his new duty station has not yet been announced.
In the intra-provincial assignments within the Istanbul Police Department, where changes were made at 27 critical points, attention has turned to the Eyüpsultan District Police Department.
Can Coşkun, a 3rd Class Police Chief, has been appointed to replace Şinasi Yüzbaşıoğlu, who is married to famous presenter Müge Anlı and served as the Eyüpsultan District Police Chief. It drew attention that no official statement was made regarding the new post of Yüzbaşıoğlu, whose duty location was changed.
NEW DISTRICT POLICE CHIEFS IN 18 DISTRICTS
Within the scope of the decree, new names took over the district police chief positions in 18 districts of Istanbul. The table of new chiefs appointed to districts along with their ranks took shape as follows:
- Adalar - Alpaslan Şahin, 3rd Class Police Chief
- Arnavutköy - Tolga Öztürk, 2nd Class Police Chief
- Ataşehir - Muhammet Ahmet Katipoğlu, 2nd Class Police Chief
- Bahçelievler - Kıvanç Taşçı, 3rd Class Police Chief
- Bakırköy - Kürşat Mesut Özmen, 4th Class Police Chief
- Beyoğlu - Oktay Çelik, 2nd Class Police Chief
- Çatalca - Lütfü Doğan, 2nd Class Police Chief
- Çekmeköy - Nadir Öztürk, 4th Class Police Chief
- Eyüpsultan - Can Coşkun, 3rd Class Police Chief
- Gaziosmanpaşa - Özgür Yılmaz, 2nd Class Police Chief
- Kağıthane - Ömer Faruk Günay, 2nd Class Police Chief
- Kartal - Fatih Tilki, 3rd Class Police Chief

NEW APPOINTMENTS AND ACTING ROLES IN BRANCH DIRECTORATES
A comprehensive duty distribution was also carried out in the branch directorates of the Provincial Police Department. The new appointments and positions to be carried out on an acting basis were determined as follows:
- Baltalimanı Police House Branch Directorate: 4th Class Police Chief Ozan Koç
- Children's Branch Directorate: 4th Class Police Chief Mehmet Tanrıkulu
- Bosphorus Bridges Protection Branch Directorate: 3rd Class Police Chief Halil İbrahim Başlı
- Protection Branch Directorate: 3rd Class Police Chief Muhsin Dumlupınar
- Sensitive Areas Protection Branch Directorate: 3rd Class Police Chief Emrah Ata
- Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport Branch Directorate: 3rd Class Police Chief Gökhan Karagül
- Foreign Relations Branch Directorate: 4th Class Police Chief Esma Yavaşça (Yavaşça will also concurrently serve as acting head of the Interpol-Europol Branch Directorate and the Strategy Development Branch Directorate.)
- Construction and Real Estate Branch Directorate: 3rd Class Police Chief Azmi İlker Çiftçi (Çiftçi will also concurrently serve as acting head of the Support Services Branch Directorate.)
