The young striker of our National Football Team, Semih Kılıçsoy, who will compete with Wales away in the first match of Group 4 of the UEFA Nations League B and with Iceland in Izmir in the second match, has been removed from the squad due to injury. Another forward sent by Beşiktaş to the national team, Mustafa Hekimoğlu, has been called down to the U21 National Team.

The Turkish National Football Team will play their first match in Group 4 of the UEFA Nations League against Wales on September 6th, Friday, away from home. Their second match will be against Iceland in Izmir on September 9th, Monday. Young striker Semih Kılıçsoy, who is currently recovering from an injury, has been removed from the squad.

In a statement from the Turkish Football Federation; "There has been a change in the provisional squad of the Turkish National Team, which will start its UEFA Nations League Group 4 campaign with the away match against Wales on September 6th. The examination and tests of Semih Kılıçsoy, who joined the national team camp with a strain in his left groin, have been completed as part of his ongoing treatment. It has been determined that Semih will not fully recover from his injury during the Wales and Iceland matches of the Turkish National Team, therefore it has been decided that he will continue his treatment at his club," the statement said.

MUSTAFA ERHAN HEKİMOĞLU ALSO CALLED UP TO U21

Meanwhile, it has been announced that another young player, Mustafa Hekimoğlu, who plays for Beşiktaş, will join the U21 National Team and "In addition, Mustafa Hekimoğlu has been included in the provisional squad of the Turkish U21 National Team, which will face the Republic of Ireland and San Marino in the UEFA European U21 Championship Qualifiers," the statement said.
