In Istanbul, the moments when a service vehicle did not yield to an ambulance responding to an incident were captured on a mobile phone camera.
The service vehicle with license plate 34 LAT 994, traveling toward Ankara at the Haliç location, blocked the passage of the ambulance coming behind it with its siren on by failing to yield.
IT DID NOT YIELD TO THE AMBULANCE
Even though the ambulance driver warned via announcement and asked the service vehicle to pull over, the driver of the service vehicle continued not to yield. The driver of the service vehicle, who continued on the road while blocking the ambulance's passage for a while, later moved to the right lane and opened the way.
In the footage recorded by the ambulance driver with a mobile phone, there were moments when the service driver did not yield despite the warning siren sounding from the ambulance coming behind in traffic.
