"HE SHOULD NEVER GET OUT OF PRISON"

Speaking about the incident, Ayşe Katırcı said that she has been separated from her ex-husband for ten years and that he has never left her alone, stating, "He started raiding my home with constant threats. I knew he would do this to me one day. I filed complaints constantly, but in the end, this happened to me. I am in great pain right now. I want whatever punishment is necessary to be given and for him to never get out of prison. I want no amnesty or reduction to ever be given to people like him."

"I AM BEDRIDDEN BECAUSE OF THIS MURDERER"

SHE HAD ASKED FOR HELP LIKE THIS

Ayşe Katırcı had given an interview days before the attack to make her voice heard. Katırcı had said, "He beat me on the fourth day of our marriage. He also beat me while I was pregnant. When he drank alcohol, he would unconsciously hit me with whatever he could get his hands on. Throughout our marriage, I walked around with a black eye. I didn't file complaints back then, but now I file complaints constantly. He makes my life a living hell. He had sent me a burial shroud before. Now he threatens me by saying, 'I will buy you a grave.' He comes and pulls a gun, pulls a knife. I constantly receive threats. He calls my friends and slanders me by saying, 'She is going down a bad path.' He constantly applies psychological pressure. He says, 'I will make it so you can't leave the house.' Maybe he will throw acid on my face; I don't know what he will do."
