OLD ISSUES TURN INTO ARGUMENT
The incident occurred in the garden of a photography studio located in the Laleli neighborhood of Aksaray. According to the information obtained, B.İ., aged 29, met with S.K., aged 27, whom she claimed to be her ex-boyfriend, to discuss a matter. The verbal argument that started between the two over old issues quickly escalated into a physical altercation. B.İ., stating that she was assaulted during the incident, called the 112 Emergency Call Center without delay and requested help from security forces.
RAPID RESPONSE FROM POLICE
Following the distress call, police teams dispatched to the area arrived at the scene within a short time and intervened in the situation. The teams immediately took the young woman under protection for safety reasons and listened to both parties. After B.İ. said, "I am filing a complaint" against S.K., who had used violence against her, the suspect was taken into custody by police teams and brought to the police station to give his statement. It was reported that the security forces' investigation and judicial process regarding the incident are ongoing.
