Making groundbreaking analyses about the political future of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş, Tayyar claimed that Yavaş is waiting for the waters to calm down and could emerge as the joint candidate of the İYİ Party and right-wing parties based on the new fault lines that will form in the upcoming period.

GAVE A DATE FOR EARLY ELECTIONS: OCTOBER 2027
Stating that there is an active one-year process ahead and that they will then enter the election atmosphere, Şamil Tayyar pointed to the date when the election decision will be made: "We have now entered the final stretch in politics. There will probably be days in October 2027 when the election decision will be made. We have 1 active year ahead, and the rest will develop in the election atmosphere."
CANDIDACY SCENARIO FOR MANSUR YAVAŞ
Evaluating Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş's stance and political future, Tayyar argued that Yavaş is in a strategic waiting period:
- Waiting for the Waters to Calm: Stating that Yavaş is observing the maturation of conditions, Tayyar said, "If he finds suitable ground, he will be a candidate; if he cannot, he might even leave politics, but he will try for candidacy until the last moment."
- The CHP and New Party Dilemma: Claiming that Yavaş is treated like a "spare tire" by the New Party side and is uncomfortable with this, Tayyar stated that remaining within CHP is also ideologically difficult, using the expressions, "The new strategy under Kılıçdaroğlu's management does not overlap much with Yavaş's traditional ideology."
"HE WILL WANT TO SEE THE NEW FAULT LINES"
Stating that steps regarding a terrorism-free Turkey and solution initiatives in the next 6-month period will create new fault lines in politics, Şamil Tayyar said this situation could trigger new alliances. Tayyar added that Yavaş does not want to put himself at risk immediately and could also take part in the equation as the joint candidate of İYİ Party and other right-wing parties.
KILIÇDAROĞLU AND NEW PARTY CRITICISM
Claiming that the New Party has lost its initial momentum and is gradually fading, Tayyar made the following harsh criticism regarding the balances within CHP: "We see that Kemal Bey has now taken the scalpel and the hatchet into his hands. It is not ethical to stay within CHP on one hand while carrying out propaganda for the New Party on the other."
