İYİ Party Bursa Deputy Yüksel Selçuk Türkoğlu began reading the names of 7,500 people martyred by the terrorist organization PKK at the end of his speech on the fifth article of the framework law proposal. After TBMM Deputy Speaker Celal Adan gave a 5-minute break to the session, Türkoğlu continued reading the names of the martyrs while İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu came to the podium, embraced him, and led him to the İYİ Party benches.
İYİ (Good) Party Bursa Deputy Yüksel Selçuk Türkoğlu took the floor at the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) General Assembly regarding the fifth article of the 'Law Proposal on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Cohesion', known publicly as the framework law.
TÜRKOĞLU BEGAN READING THE NAMES OF MARTYRS
Türkoğlu stated at the end of his speech that he would read the names of 7,500 people who were martyred by the terrorist organization PKK.
During this time, TBMM Clerk Member and İYİ Party member Rıdvan Uz, who was at the assembly desk, called out to Adan, saying, "Shall we take a five-minute break? Let's not interrupt the martyrs."
ADAN ADJOURNED THE SESSION
TBMM Deputy Speaker Celal Adan, addressing Türkoğlu, said, "You are occupying that place. The martyrs are ours. What is he doing right now?"
As Türkoğlu continued reading the names of the martyrs, Adan adjourned the session for 5 minutes. Deputies from the İYİ Party group also accompanied Türkoğlu to the podium.
DERVİŞOĞLU TOOK HIM FROM THE PODIUM BY HUGGING HIM
İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu also came to the podium, first kissed Türkoğlu on the forehead, and then hugged him and took him from the podium to the İYİ Party benches.
After the break, the İYİ Party group left the General Assembly.
