The sunbeds on the piers also fell into the water due to the wind. Some holidaymakers panicked briefly as they were caught unprepared for the storm. Some holidaymakers quickly returned to their hotels. Hotel staff retrieved the drifting sunbeds by swimming to the shore. Some hotels' beaches were damaged due to the storm. The footage shows the sudden rain and storm causing waves in the sea, sunbeds on the hotel's pier being thrown into the water due to the storm, trees swaying, dislodged pieces flying around, and holidaymakers running back to the hotel on the beach.
