The Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) imposed a 280,000 TL fine on Galatasaray following the Fenerbahçe derby. The reason for the yellow-red club's punishment was the use of an unregistered logo on the scoreboard during the match.
The Professional Football Disciplinary Board announced its decision regarding the match in which Galatasaray played Fenerbahçe. The Board fined the yellow-red club 280,000 TL on the grounds that an unregistered logo was used on the scoreboard during the match.
THE REASON FOR THE FINE IS THE LOGO ON THE SCOREBOARD
It drew attention that the fine imposed on Galatasaray stemmed not from an incident on the pitch but from the logo used on the stadium's scoreboard. The PFDK ruled that the yellow-red club pay 280,000 TL for using an unregistered logo.
HERE ARE ALL THE PENALTIES
In the Board's statement, the following statements were used: "It has been decided that GALATASARAY A.Ş. athlete ABDÜLKERİM BARDAKCI shall be punished due to the act of fighting, in accordance with Articles 45/1-a and 35/4 of the FDT and by applying Article 12 of the FDT, with a ban from 2 OFFICIAL MATCHES and a FINE OF 67,000 TL."
Fenerbahçe's Archie Brown was given a ban from 3 official matches and a fine of 100,000 TL due to the act of fighting.
In the PFDK's statement, it was said, "It has been decided that FENERBAHÇE A.Ş. athlete ARCHIBALD NORMAN BROWN shall be punished due to the act of fighting, in accordance with Articles 45/1-a and 35/4 of the FDT, with a ban from 3 OFFICIAL MATCHES and a FINE OF 100,000 TL."
SERHAT DOĞAN AND AHMET AYTAR ALSO FINED
The PFDK imposed penalties on Galatasaray coach Serhat Doğan on two separate grounds. Doğan was fined 50,000 TL for violation of instructions due to being in areas where he was not accredited. He also received a 21-day deprivation of rights penalty due to unsportsmanlike conduct toward an opposing team player.
Fenerbahçe official Ahmet Aytar was fined 50,000 TL for violation of instructions due to being in areas where he was not accredited.
The following statements were included in the PFDK's statement:
"It has been decided that GALATASARAY A.Ş. coach SERHAT DOĞAN shall be punished, due to being in areas where he was not accredited, for violation of instructions in accordance with Article 46/1 of the FDT, at the Board's discretion and ultimately with a FINE OF 50,000 TL; that in the same match GALATASARAY A.Ş. coach SERHAT DOĞAN shall be punished due to unsportsmanlike conduct toward an opposing team player, in accordance with Article 36/1-c of the FDT, with a 21-DAY DEPRIVATION OF RIGHTS PENALTY; and that in the same match FENERBAHÇE A.Ş. official AHMET AYTAR shall be punished, due to being in areas where he was not accredited, for violation of instructions in accordance with Article 46/1 of the FDT, at the Board's discretion and ultimately with a FINE OF 50,000 TL."
FINES FOR GALATASARAY AND FENERBAHÇE
After the derby, Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe were penalized for various reasons. In the statement made for Galatasaray, it was said: "It has been decided that GALATASARAY A.Ş. shall be punished with a FINE OF 500,000 TL in accordance with Article 53/2 of the FDT, due to the ugly and bad chants caused by its fans in the GALATASARAY A.Ş.-FENERBAHÇE A.Ş. Trendyol Süper Lig Adnan Süvari Season match played on 26.10.2026 and because this act was carried out for the 2nd time in a match in which it was the home club in the same season; and in accordance with Article 53/3 of the FDT, the cards within the scope of electronic tickets of the spectators located in the blocks numbered KUZEY TRİBÜNÜ 105, 106, 107, 108, 204, 205, 206, 207, 406, 407, 408, 409, DOĞU TRİBÜNÜ 102, 111, 112, 113, GÜNEY TRİBÜNÜ 119, 120, 422, 423, 424, BATI TRİBÜNÜ 102, BATI VIP TRİBÜN BLOK VIP 100, who engaged in ugly and bad chants, shall be blocked and their entry to the next match in which it is the home club shall be prevented,
In the same match, it has been decided that GALATASARAY A.Ş. shall be punished with a FINE OF 560,000 TL, at the Board's discretion and ultimately, in accordance with Articles 52/2 and 46/1 of the FDT, due to pitch incidents caused by its fans and members,
In the same match, it has been decided that GALATASARAY A.Ş. shall be punished with a FINE OF 500,000 TL in accordance with Article 22/1 of the Sports Equipment Instruction, due to violation of instructions because the number of accompanying children was more than the number of referees and footballers participating in the ceremony,
In the same match, it has been decided that GALATASARAY A.Ş. shall be punished with a FINE OF 280,000 TL, at the Board's discretion and ultimately, in accordance with Article 46/1 of the FDT, due to violation of instructions because its player who was expelled from the match made a statement in the mixed zone,
In the same match, it has been decided that GALATASARAY A.Ş. shall be punished with a FINE OF 280,000 TL, at the Board's discretion and ultimately, in accordance with Article 46/1 of the FDT, due to violation of instructions because the visiting team's logo that was not registered with the TFF was used on the scoreboard."
In the statement made for Fenerbahçe, the following statements were used: "It has been decided that FENERBAHÇE A.Ş. shall be punished with a FINE OF 350,000 TL in accordance with Article 53/2 of the FDT, due to the ugly and bad chants caused by its fans in the GALATASARAY A.Ş.-FENERBAHÇE A.Ş. Trendyol Süper Lig Adnan Süvari Season match played on 26.10.2026 and because this act was carried out for the 3rd time in a match in which it was the visiting club in the same season; and in accordance with Article 53/3 of the FDT, the cards within the scope of electronic tickets of the spectators located in the blocks numbered MİSAFİR TRİBÜN 418, 419, 420, who engaged in ugly and bad chants, shall be blocked and their entry to the next match in which it is the visiting club shall be prevented,
In the same match, it has been decided that FENERBAHÇE A.Ş. shall be punished with a FINE OF 560,000 TL, at the Board's discretion and ultimately, in accordance with Articles 52/2 and 46/1 of the FDT, due to pitch incidents caused by its fans and members,
In the same match, it has been decided that FENERBAHÇE A.Ş. shall be punished with a FINE OF 87,500 TL in accordance with Article 40/2 of the FDT, due to unsportsmanlike conduct as a team,
In the same match, it has been decided that FENERBAHÇE A.Ş. shall be punished with a FINE OF 280,000 TL, at the Board's discretion and ultimately, in accordance with Article 46/1 of the FDT, due to violation of instructions because its player who was expelled from the match made a statement in the mixed zone."
