A woman running a beauty salon in the Osmangazi district of Bursa claimed that she has been subjected to various pressures by the property owner's brother for about 4 years in order to force her out of the workplace. The person, who is alleged to have removed paving stones at midnight and cut electrical cables and air-conditioning hoses, was last claimed to have blocked customer access by pulling his caravans to the entrance of the workplace. The incidents were captured by security cameras.
The incident occurred in Bağlarbaşı Neighborhood of the central Osmangazi district. According to the allegation, a rent dispute began 4 years ago between Pınar Çalışır, who has been running a beauty salon at the same address for about 8 years, and the property owner. In this process, it was alleged that O.G., stated to be the property owner's brother, carried out various actions on different dates in order to remove the tenant from the workplace.
According to the allegation, while O.G. cut the air-conditioning pipes and electrical cables belonging to the workplace, he also removed the paving stones in front of the shop with the help of a pickaxe. Çalışır claimed that she filed complaints many times due to the incidents but the problem was not resolved.
HE DESTROYED THE ORNAMENTAL POOL AND BLOCKED THE ENTRANCE WITH A CARAVAN
Stating that the last incident occurred yesterday evening, Pınar Çalışır said that the ornamental pool in front of the workplace was destroyed and the caravans were parked in a way that blocked the shop entrance. Expressing that her customers had difficulty reaching the workplace because of the caravans, Çalışır stated that the incidents seriously affected her business.
Stating that they served up to an average of 30 appointments per day at the beauty salon, Çalışır said that she experienced customer loss, alleging that this number recently dropped to as low as 5. Expressing that she had been going through difficult days because of the incidents that she stated had continued for about 4 years, Çalışır asked the authorities for help.
THOSE MOMENTS ON CAMERA
On the other hand, the footage captured by the workplace's security cameras included moments in which O.G. was alleged to have come to the area with a caravan during the night, checked the surroundings after getting out of the vehicle, and damaged the ornamental pool. It was also seen that the footage recorded moments when the paving stones in front of the workplace were removed and various damages were caused to the surroundings. While it was alleged that the neighborhood residents were also disturbed by the incidents, it was learned that the legal process between the parties was continuing.
HE IS TRYING TO INTIMIDATE ME
Reacting to what she experienced, Pınar Çalışır said, "I have been running this hairdressing salon for 8 years. We have had a rent dispute with the owner of the workplace for about 4 years. He constantly harasses us. He cuts our air-conditioning pipes and electrical cables, and he removed our paving stones. He does every kind of malicious act. We filed complaints everywhere, but we have not obtained any result. I have experienced customer loss because of these incidents. Yesterday evening, he also destroyed the ornamental pool in front of my shop. He pulls his caravans to the entrance and blocks the front of our workplace. He is trying to intimidate me with such incidents."
Çalışır asked for the incidents to end and for her grievance to be remedied.
