Following Meteorology's warnings about adverse weather and sea conditions, swimming has been banned in some districts and beaches in Istanbul, Kocaeli, Zonguldak, and Bartın. While the ban applies in 4 districts in Istanbul covering August 13-14, swimming will not be allowed in Zonguldak for 4 days.

Following the General Directorate of Meteorology's warnings for strong winds and high waves, governorships and district governorships issued successive bans due to the adverse conditions. In Istanbul, Kocaeli, Zonguldak, and Bartın, swimming will not be allowed on certain days in some districts, beaches, or across the cities for safety reasons.

SWIMMING BANNED IN 4 DISTRICTS OF ISTANBUL

In Istanbul, due to high wave heights, swimming has been temporarily suspended at beaches in Beykoz, Şile, and Arnavutköy, as well as at Kısırkaya Public Beach in Sarıyer.

The Şile District Governorship announced that swimming is prohibited at beaches, coves, and public beaches on August 13-14.

In Arnavutköy, the ban covers August 13, 14, 15, and 16, while in Beykoz, swimming will not be allowed at beaches, public beaches, and coves along the Black Sea coast on August 13-14.

In Sarıyer, Kısırkaya Public Beach is closed to both swimming and beach access on August 13-14.
