According to the information received, a fishing boat that set out to sea from Akçaabat began fishing 30 miles off Trabzon. While the caught bonitos were being hauled onto the boat, the crane system overturned onto the workers pulling the net. In the work accident, 4 fishermen were injured, 1 seriously.
The injured fishermen were brought to Araklı Port by another fishing boat belonging to the same company. The fishermen, who were taken to Araklı State Hospital and surrounding hospitals by ambulances waiting at the port, were placed under treatment.
SEVERELY INJURED FISHERMAN COULD NOT BE SAVED
