A new one has been added to the interesting images that emerged after the heavy downpour in Istanbul. In Göktürk, a driver traveling on a road covered with floodwaters noticed a fish swimming in front of him and changed his route by turning the steering wheel. As the moments when the fish swam on the road where vehicles were passing were captured by a mobile phone camera, the astonishment of the citizens who recorded the footage was also heard.
The rain that began in Istanbul on the night of October 13 and intensified the next day caused flooding across the city. After the disaster, in which many homes were submerged and cars were swept away by the current, an unusual event took place in Göktürk, part of Eyüpsultan.
GAVE WAY TO A FISH IN TRAFFIC
A fish appeared in front of a car traveling along a road covered with rainwater. Noticing the fish trying to swim in the current, the driver first gave way to the fish to avoid running over it, then maneuvered and continued on his way.
"IS THE FISH SWIMMING, WHAT IS IT DOING?"
Citizens who recorded those moments with their mobile phones were astonished by the scene they encountered. In the footage, a person could be heard asking, "Is the fish swimming, what is it doing?" while the person next to them replied, "It's swimming."
