In the Sapanca district of Sakarya, the driver of the car who was detained in connection with the accident in which 20-year-old Mahmut Yüşa Gül lost his life as a result of a collision between a car and a motorcycle has been arrested. Meanwhile, it was learned that the young hafiz was going to go to military service 3 days after the accident.
As a result of the collision between a car and a motorcycle in the Sapanca district of Sakarya, the car driver who was taken into custody regarding the accident in which 20-year-old Mahmut Yüşa Gül lost his life has been arrested.
THE MOTORCYCLE'S WHEEL CAME OFF, THE DRIVER WAS THROWN
The accident occurred on July 28 on Sakarya Street, Uzunkum Neighborhood, Sapanca district. According to the information obtained, the car with license plate 54 AOK 633, driven by H.M.Ç. (24), which was traveling towards the Sapanca direction, collided with the motorcycle with license plate 54 APC 660, driven by Mahmut Yüşa Gül (20). Due to the force of the collision, the motorcycle's front wheel came off, and the driver was thrown onto the road.
HE WAS GOING TO PERFORM HIS MILITARY SERVICE IN 3 DAYS
In the accident, both the car and motorcycle drivers were injured. Upon the notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured, who received first aid at the scene by health teams, were taken to the hospital by ambulances. Mahmut Yüşa Gül, who was taken under treatment with severe injuries, could not be saved despite all the doctors' interventions and lost his life. It was learned that Mahmut Yüşa Gül, who lost his life, was a hafiz and was preparing to go to the military to perform his national duty 3 days after the accident.
HIS FATHER PERFORMED THE FUNERAL PRAYER WITH DIFFICULTY
Gül's body was brought to Mesudiye Central Mosque, located in the Mesudiye Neighborhood of Karapürçek district. His father, who is an imam, performed the funeral prayer held after the afternoon prayer. After the prayer, Gül was laid to rest in the cemetery adjacent to the mosque amidst tears.
THE CAR DRIVER WAS ARRESTED
After the accident, the car driver H.M.Ç., who was taken into custody, was referred to the courthouse after the completion of his procedures at the police station. H.M.Ç. was arrested by the court he was brought before and sent to prison.
