Hasan Albayrak, who serves as a neighborhood headman in the Vakfıkebir district of Trabzon, solved the difficulties he faced during years of tea transportation with the hydraulic system he developed. The system, said to be implemented for the first time in the Black Sea Region, lightens the burden of producers especially during the tea and hazelnut harvest season.
Hasan Albayrak, the headman of Kıranköy Neighborhood in Trabzon's Vakfıkebir district, has been transporting tea and various agricultural products in the region for many years. Due to his advancing age, Albayrak began struggling to load heavy sacks onto his pickup truck and took action to find a solution. He shared the project in his mind with industrial master Ali Baştan, and Albayrak's idea quickly turned into reality.
TRANSFORMED THE DUMP MECHANISM INTO A LOAD-LIFTING APPARATUS Thanks to the hydraulic system integrated into the dump truck, the vehicle's existing dump mechanism was disabled with the help of a valve and converted into a load-lifting apparatus. Tea and hazelnut sacks placed on the hydraulic platform installed at the rear of the pickup are transferred directly into the cargo area without the need for human labor when the system is activated. Developed for producers working intensively on foggy plateau roads and rugged terrains, the system reduces labor loss, especially during harvest seasons, while also preventing elderly producers from lifting heavy loads.
"WE MADE THE INVENTION FIRST, THERE ARE INQUIRIES" Industrial master Ali Baştan stated they had not seen an example of the mechanism, saying, "Our headman came to me and explained the situation. We drew up plans and projects. We started slowly. There were problems at first, but we fixed them later. Now it works 100% efficiently. It can load wood, hay, anything you want. Since it was our first time, the project phase took a long time, but now we can do it quickly. We haven't seen another example of this until today. We just made a plan, and this came out. We made this invention first. There are inquiries."
"WITH THIS MECHANISM, EVEN A SINGLE PERSON CAN LOAD THE PICKUP TRUCK" Kıranköy Neighborhood Headman Hasan Albayrak stated that they got rid of the load-lifting problem and said, "I've been doing business in this area for years. We've been doing transportation for years, and lifting loads was a problem. I went to my master Ali and thought about making such an apparatus. We consulted on how to do it. After long efforts, we made this. No one has done this in the Black Sea Region. We did it first. It works 100% efficiently. We got rid of the load-lifting problem. I looked for a solution because I didn't have the strength. This idea came to me when I was thinking about how to lift the load onto the truck. When we go to pick up loads, there are elderly citizens. They couldn't lift the loads, and I didn't have the strength either, so we thought of such an apparatus. We made it in a short time after getting the materials. We are very comfortable now. The mechanism is currently used with dump vehicles. We canceled the dump by turning the valve and directed it only to the turning apparatus. It lifts with the hydraulic system. There has been demand for this mechanism. Some friends made it by consulting us, but I don't know if they are using it. With this mechanism, even a single person can load the pickup truck. My wife also uses it. She helps me. You can load any type of load with this mechanism."
