Within the scope of the investigation conducted against the Alihan Kuriş criminal organization, a search warrant was issued upon receiving a tip that some documents related to the organization and the investigation were being destroyed. Police teams carried out a comprehensive operation at the address in Ümraniye, known as the main center of the Süleymancılar community. During the search at the address, the tip was found to be accurate, and the documents determined to have been torn apart for the purpose of destruction were seized.
A new development has occurred in the major operation carried out by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the criminal organization led by Alihan Kuriş, the leader of the Süleymancılar, across 17 provinces.
THEY DESTROYED DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THE INVESTIGATION
In the Ümraniye district of Istanbul, upon receiving a tip that some documents related to the organization and the investigation were being destroyed at the address known as the center of the Süleymancılar community, the chief prosecutor's office took action.
Following the tip, a search warrant was issued for the address. Teams from the Istanbul Provincial Police Department swung into action and carried out a comprehensive raid on the specified address.
SHREDDED DOCUMENTS WERE SEIZED
During the search at the address, it was determined that the tip was accurate, and it was learned that documents found to have been shredded for the purpose of destruction were also seized.
THE FOOTAGE IS A BOMBSHELL
During the police raid, numerous black garbage bags were seized, and in these bags, which the cameras examined, shredded paper pieces were found. These were assessed to be documents related to the organization and the operation.
The footage also revealed that among the destroyed items were some photographs.
