According to the list of income tax record holders for 2024 published by the Revenue Administration, Guilherme Haubert Sitya, the Brazilian captain of the Süper Lig team Konyaspor, became the 12th highest taxpayer in Konya. Additionally, the green-and-white player stood out as the only foreign footballer among the top 20 tax record holders in Konya.
The Revenue Administration (GİB) has published the list of income tax champions for the year 2024. According to the list, Konyaspor's Brazilian captain Guilherme Haubert Sitya is the 12th person who paid the most taxes in Konya.
The green-and-white football player declared 12 million 567 thousand 272 TL in taxes under "salary income." Guilherme stood out as the only foreign football player among the top 20 tax champions in Konya.

Other players from Konyaspor were also included in the list. Winger Alassane Ndao ranked 27th with 6 million 713 thousand 422 TL in taxes, while defender Adil Demirbağ found himself in 50th place with 3 million 883 thousand 66 TL in taxes.
KONYASPOR PRESIDENT RANKED HIGH
At the top of the list, Konyaspor Club President Ömer Atiker drew attention. Atiker became the 2nd person who paid the most taxes in Konya with a tax assessment of 23 million 404 thousand 237 TL under "income from movable capital."

The Revenue Administration stated in a statement that there are many taxpayers who do not want their names to be shared in the list. Nevertheless, it was noted that Super League players made significant tax contributions at the local level.
