Fearful moments were experienced at the fruit and vegetable wholesale market in Alanya district of Antalya. Yesterday morning, workers lit a fire in a bucket to warm up.

The bucket suddenly exploded like a bomb as the concrete warmed up in the cold weather. The workers sitting around the bucket to warm up panicked and moved away with the explosion.

Eyewitness Orhan Metin, who said that a loud explosion sound came from a neighboring shop in the market, stated, "This is something that happens in this market, or rather, everywhere in Turkey. Workers lit a fire to warm up in the morning. It occurred due to the warming of the concrete on the ground. No one was injured, and there was no damage. We were informed by hearing the sound."
