PRESIDENTIAL BUILDING EVACUATED
According to reports in the national press, security teams took action after a bomb threat was made in the morning hours, and the presidential building was evacuated.
In a statement from the presidency, it was reported that no danger was detected after the checks were completed and the work routine returned to normal.
BOMB THREATS ALSO MADE TO OTHER INSTITUTIONS
Bulgaria's Ministry of Interior announced that similar threat messages were sent to some institutions in the cities of Sofia, Varna, and Burgaz. Authorities stated that checks were carried out within the scope of determined procedures at the relevant institutions, and no hazardous elements have been detected so far.
Since the beginning of July, numerous bomb threats have been made in different cities in Bulgaria, with various public institutions and courthouses being targets of threat messages.
Security units continue their investigation into the source of the threats.
