The presidential cabinet will meet today at Beştepe under the leadership of Erdoğan. The main agenda items of the summit, which millions will follow, will include the hotel fire in Bolu, counter-terrorism operations, the Hamas-Israel ceasefire, and the fight against inflation.
President Erdoğan will convene the Presidential Cabinet today at the Beştepe Complex. The main agenda item will be the fire in Bolu Kartalkaya, which claimed the lives of 78 of our citizens.
CEASEFIRE WILL ALSO BE DISCUSSED
The cabinet will discuss regional developments and counter-terrorism operations, and the ceasefire agreed upon by Hamas and Israel will also be addressed. During the meeting, the latest steps taken in the region as the second anniversary of the February 6 earthquakes approaches will be reviewed.
RECENT TERROR OPERATIONS WILL BE EVALUATED
Steps taken towards the goal of a "Terror-free Turkey," the hotel fire in Bolu, increasing cooperation with the new administration in Syria, and Gaza will be among the topics discussed. Counter-terrorism efforts and relations with Syria will be among the agenda items in the Cabinet, including the recent terror operations in northern Syria and Iraq.
Steps to be taken regarding the removal of PKK/YPG from Syria and the reconstruction of the region with the new Damascus administration will be evaluated. Another agenda item for the Cabinet is expected to be the ceasefire reached between Hamas and Israel.
AID TO GAZA WILL BE ON THE CABINET AGENDA
The support that Turkey will provide to sustain the ceasefire will also be among the topics discussed in the cabinet. Aid to be sent to Gaza will also be on the Cabinet's agenda. Additionally, developments in the fight against inflation and steps to ensure price stability will be evaluated.
