The accident occurred yesterday evening on the Ankara-Chankırı highway at the Kırıkkale Junction. A car with the license plate 18 AAT 810, driven by Bekir E., collided with another car with the license plate 06 DM 9170, driven by Fatih Demirtaş. In the accident, where the vehicles were totaled, the drivers Fatih Demirtaş and his wife Ayşe, their son Duhan Emir Demirtaş, and his mother-in-law Leyla Atak lost their lives.

After the procedures at the Forensic Medicine Institution, the bodies of the four individuals were taken to their hometown, Arbişli village in the Delice district of Kırıkkale. The family members' bodies were sent off on their last journey after the noon prayer.
