With the 2026 YKS results announced by ÖSYM, Turkey's top scorers have also been determined. While five candidates shared the top spot in TYT, the leaders in the numerical, verbal, and equal-weighted score types for AYT, as well as in five different language fields for YDT, were announced. Attention has now turned to university preferences, which will take place between July 29 and August 10.
Following the announcement of the 2026 Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) results by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), the top achievers of the exam have also been revealed. The candidates who achieved first place in Turkey in the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT), Field Proficiency Test (AYT), and Foreign Language Test (YDT) have been announced.
FIVE CANDIDATES SHARE FIRST PLACE IN TYT
İlker Uyanıker, Abdullah Uslu, Miraç Koşar, Doğa Erdemir, and Şerif Efe Dartar, who demonstrated the highest success in the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT), shared first place in Turkey and became the prominent names of the exam.
THEY REACHED THE TOP IN THREE DIFFERENT SCORE TYPES IN AYT
In the Field Proficiency Test (AYT), first-place winners in Turkey were determined in three different score types. Şerif Efe Dartar topped the numerical score type, while Enes Salahaddin Coşkun achieved the highest score in the verbal score type, and Tuğsem Bahar became first in Turkey in the equal weight score type.
