A woman sitting in a chair by the pool in Alanya district of Antalya was seriously injured when a chimney cover fell on her head.

Hanım Kaya Orakcı, 37, who was on vacation at a hotel in Konaklı Neighborhood, was sitting in a chair in the pool area when a chimney cover fell on her head from a height of about 20 meters from the hotel roof. Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. It was learned that the woman's health condition was critical and she was taken to the hospital by the 112 Emergency Health team.

The moment of the accident was recorded by the hotel's security camera. The footage shows other vacationers swimming in the pool, Orakcı sitting in a chair between the sun loungers, the chimney cover falling on her head from the roof, the people around rushing to help the woman who collapsed on the ground, and some hotel residents carrying their children and moving away from the pool.
