CHP Deputy Chair Gül Çiftçi denied claims that a new party would be established if a negative decision is made in the party congress case to be seen today. Çiftçi stated, "This is out of the question, and I want to emphasize that. The CHP is our ancestral party. There is no possibility of us distancing ourselves from the CHP umbrella."

All eyes are on the CHP convention cancellation lawsuit to be seen today. The trial will begin at 10:00 AM at the Ankara 42nd Civil Court of First Instance. CHP Deputy Chairman Gül Çiftçi answered questions on Halk TV before the trial.

Çiftçi added: "This cannot be the case, I want to emphasize that. CHP is our ancestral party. It is not even possible for us to distance ourselves from the CHP umbrella. This is being articulated because they hope for it, but this cannot even be the case. Because we were in this party when it fell below the threshold. We were under the umbrella of this party when it was closed. Therefore, such a thing cannot be the case, and it is not on our agenda."

"THEY WON'T LET PEOPLE APPOINTED BY THE AK PARTY JUDICIARY TO MANAGE US"

CHP's Çiftçi stated that they will not give up the struggle, saying, "We do not give up because we came out of that ballot box. They will not let un-elected people manage this party, especially those appointed by the AK Party judiciary." Çiftçi drew attention to the extraordinary convention to be held on September 21, stating that "anyone who wants can be a candidate." He also announced that the Istanbul Provincial Congress will also convene extraordinarily on September 24.
