APOLOGIES WERE MADEAfter the photo was removed from the navy's social media accounts, an apology was issued for the incorrect assembly of the rifle along with the statement "Clear Vision Official". REPLACEMENT NAME IS ALSO KNOWNTemporarily replacing Yaste is Captain Allison Christy, the deputy commodore of Destroyer Squadron 21, which is part of the USS Abraham Lincoln strike group in the Arabian Sea. Navy officials stated that after Christy assumes command, any deficiencies in the destroyer's leadership will be quickly addressed.
