Shoshana Struk, the daughter of Israel's Minister of Settlement and National Missions Orit Struk, was found dead in a rented country house in the Amirim settlement in the Galilee region. An investigation has been launched regarding Struk's death, who accused her mother, father, and brother of sexual abuse last year.
The daughter of Orit Struk, the Minister of Settlement and National Missions from Israel's far-right, Shoshana Strook, was found dead in the Amirim settlement located in Upper Galilee. It was reported that Struk was found dead in a rented cottage.
INVESTIGATION INITIATED
While police teams arriving at the scene reported the situation to the authorities, Shoshana Strook's body was sent to the forensic medicine institute to determine the exact cause of death. Authorities announced that an investigation into the incident had been initiated. Although initial findings suggest that Shoshana may have committed suicide, her death was deemed suspicious.
HER MOTHER CONFIRMED HER DEATH
Orit Struk confirmed her daughter's death in a statement on her social media account, saying, "My heart is broken by the passing of our beloved daughter Shoshana."
SHE HAD ACCUSED HER MOTHER, FATHER, AND BROTHER OF SEXUAL ABUSE
Shoshana Strook had caused a significant stir in Israeli public opinion with statements she made in a video she published last year. Living in Italy, Struk accused her mother Orit Struk, her father, and her brother of sexual assault and abuse against her in a video she shared on social media. The young woman claimed that she was taken to "pedophilia rituals" at a very young age and systematically mistreated. After voicing her allegations, Shoshana Strook reportedly went to Israel and filed an official complaint, claiming that her younger siblings were also subjected to physical violence by their parents. Due to these allegations, a publication ban was imposed in the Israeli press for a while.
Stating that the abuse was recorded, Shoshana left Israel after the incidents and later returned to Tel Aviv to file a complaint against her family. Requesting protection from the police, Shoshana said, "I returned to Israel with my husband after realizing that the elements of the crime were threatening me. I ask the Israeli police to protect me from my own family."
Shoshana stated that she was sexually abused by her parents and that this was recorded. This experience psychologically affected her and led her to leave Israel. She later returned to Tel Aviv and filed a police complaint against her parents for sexual abuse.
Additionally, it is known that Shoshana's brother Sviki Struk was accused of kidnapping and torturing a Palestinian child in 2007.
MINISTER STRUK'S FEAR OF TURKEY
Turkey's mediating role in Gaza and the respect it has gained worldwide is also unsettling Israel and Israeli ministers. Last year, Israeli Minister Struk openly expressed his discomfort with Turkey's involvement, stating, "I do not want to see Turks in Gaza, whether in tractors, SUVs, or wheeled vehicles."
