The couple Dilan and Engin Polat appeared before the judge in the case of the shooting at the workplace, in which social media influencer Banu Parlak withdrew her complaint. In the trial held at Küçükçekmece Courthouse in Istanbul, the judge decided to continue the detention of Dilan Polat, Engin Polat, and Sezgin Polat.
In the trial of 11 defendants, including Dilan and Engin Polat, who are currently in custody, for the shooting of social media influencer Banu Parlak's beauty center, the decision was made to continue the detention of the Polat couple.
In the trial at the Küçükçekmece 3rd Criminal Court of First Instance, detained defendants Dilan Polat, her husband Engin, her father-in-law Sezgin Polat, and the complainant Banu Parlak were present. The other detained defendants participated in the trial via the Audio and Visual Information System (SEGBİS).

WHAT HAPPENED? The indictment prepared by the Küçükçekmece Public Prosecutor's Office states that defendant Dilan Polat sent a threatening message to Banu Parlak through a video she posted on her social media account. The indictment also states that shortly after this message, defendant Engin Polat contacted Beratcan and Batın Can Gökdemir, fugitive leaders of the armed organized crime group known as the "Daltons," through his connections in Georgia, to carry out an armed attack on the complainant's workplace.
Banu Parlak The indictment seeks a prison sentence of 2 years and 4 months to 8 years for the Polat couple for "incitement to threaten with a weapon with multiple people" and "incitement to cause damage to property." Arrest warrants have been issued for fugitive defendants Barış Boyun, Beratcan, and Batin Can Gökdemir, and they are facing charges of "establishing an armed criminal organization with the intention of committing a crime," "threatening with a weapon with multiple people," "causing damage to property," and "carrying an unlicensed weapon," with a prison sentence of 8 years and 4 months to 23 years.
The indictment also seeks prison sentences ranging from 2 years and 4 months to 23 years for the other defendants Batuhan İnci, İsmail Emre Arifoğlu, Nizamettin Bilgili, Onur Abiç, Yunus Emre Yıldız, and Sezgin Polat for different crimes.
